I began my legal career as a file clerk and worked my way up to senior paralegal and office manager at some of Las Vegas's most prominent law firms. That decade of hands-on legal experience — across criminal defense, civil litigation, family law, bankruptcy, and immigration — sent me back to school with a different kind of urgency.
I earned my B.Sc. in Urban Studies at UNLV as a McNair Scholar and Gilman recipient, spent four years as a Research Associate at Brookings Mountain West and The Lincy Institute publishing policy research across criminal justice, housing, and immigration, and am now completing my M.A. in International Crime and Justice at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where my work spans international human rights and transnational crime.

As a committee member of the Our Future East Las Vegas Initiative, I work alongside local leadership on economic development, housing, and infrastructure in the east valley. I believe access to professional document services shouldn't depend on how much money you have or whether you speak English. All services are available in English and Spanish.
